is this a sweater
over a sweater over a dress above thigh high boots with thigh high socks?! Oh yes it is! I am a big big big fan of this whole layer over layer trend – although I hate that word -and when Mother Nature is giving you a hard time – meaning: endless and excessive rain combined with awfully cold breeze – triple layers won’t keep you dry, but will definitely keep your human temperature on an acceptable level…although…these red lips turned blue after a few hours…but, I think you guys understand what I’m trying to say here: layers are absolutely a trend -blegh, again that word – we want to have in harsh winter weather.
This whole layer thing can be widely interpreted: from preppy chic, to hardcore minimalistic to everything in between. I guess the tied sweater over sweater in shades of grey is more on the minimalistic side. Although I love to flirt with this style, going all the way with it is just not me. And from this point of view, a little cheesy-but-true advice from writer to reader: make sure to be always be you.
Which style it may be you love, give it a touch of your identity. I did, by adding a little bit of diva-glam (not that I’m the total diva, but at this friday morning I don’t really know another word to describe it..haha) Anyhow. This outfit turned back to me with a bit va-va-voom: Russian Red lips, thigh high socks in boots and of course this amazing Valerie bag in blue (which eventually and unfortunately totally matched the lips a few hours later….)
Short story about the bag (I mean its Friday, we should be drinking, not reading) : it’s a label I discovered in New York. The designer is a total cool girl and her design perfectly fits her personality: gracious, sophisticated and fun since the bag is 100% customizable to your taste. Now thats how you can always add a little bit of you! From leather, to color to everything you wish for within the design, it’s all up to you. All the bags are handcrafted and I think the designs of Victoria Khoss are timeless. So, with Christmas coming….I think you should put Victoria Khoss on your lust list. Santa will definitely understand.
HAPPY FRIYAY
