baby blue ocean,
pearl white sand, gorgeous sunsets and a private island with flamingos twirling around….Need to say more?! This vacation was pa-ra-dise. After only a 4-hour flight we arrived at the island called Aruba, and to be honest; the first few hours I really had to get used to the total ease&peace.
The silence combined with absence of honking cabbies, deafening sirenes and overcrowded streets got us in this sort of culture shock. But, after a dinner on – yes ‘on’ not ‘at’ – the beach and a stunner of a sunset, we gave in to the peace and had the coolest vacay ever. Me, my man and…flamingos! This whole pink ladies’ thing was a dream come true. Imagine: a private island with these tropical animals just a 10 minute boat ride from our hotel. All we did was chilling, eating and chilling. Plus (another dream come true), the weather gods made us stay a bit longer with the NY blizzard that canceled our flight…So, we were stuck on the island….what a punishment…. ; – p
Enough talk, just see the photos and I bet you want to book a ticket to these tropics!
I feel a sequel coming (and still have a ton of pictures) …so probably more in a few days ; )
